Sustainability
Performance that respects the planet.
At ecopax, sustainability is built into every step from the materials we source to the way we manufacture and innovate. We develop packaging solutions that balance performance with environmental responsibility, helping our customers meet evolving sustainability goals without compromising reliability.
We begin with responsible sources.
100% SFI-certified paper products, with FSC options available to support specific customer requirements.
Our material portfolio now includes PLA and PCR options, giving customers more ways to choose compostable, recycled-content, and lower-impact solutions. Select products are BPI certified, supporting verified compostability without compromising the performance customers expect. When working with polypropylene, we follow strict internal recycling processes to ensure defective or excess sheets are reclaimed and repurposed whenever possible, minimizing waste and reducing material impact.
Smarter material choices drive measurable progress.
Your product should never be at odds with performance, responsibility or the planet.
Smarter sourcing. Lower impact.
Energy-conscious manufacturing built for efficiency
Manufacturing food containers requires continuous, energy-intensive operations. We recognize the responsibility that comes with that. Ecopax is committed to using carbon-free electricity, power generated from zero-carbon emission sources, significantly reducing greenhouse gases associated with production. Efficiency and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
In 2024, ecopax avoided
Built for today. Responsible for tomorrow.
We believe sustainability must be practical, measurable, and forward-looking. By investing in responsible materials, energy-conscious manufacturing, and product innovation, ecopax supports both operational performance and long-term environmental progress.
Because protecting the planet and protecting your product should never be at odds.

SFI-Certified Paper Products
Ecopax paper products are sourced with responsibility in mind. 100% of our paper materials are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), an independent standard that ensures fiber comes from forests managed for long-term environmental and social health.
For foodservice operators, this matters. Many institutional buyers including schools, healthcare systems, and national restaurant groups require or prefer certified sustainable sourcing. SFI certification provides clear, third-party verification that your packaging meets those standards.
SFI-certified forests are managed to support carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and responsible forestry practices, connecting your packaging choices to measurable environmental outcomes. The certification also includes a documented chain of custody, helping support sustainability reporting and procurement requirements.
At ecopax, SFI certification applies across our paper lineup, including cups and containers.
Responsible sourcing. Verified standards. Packaging you can stand behind.
