Job Title: Press Operator

Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Press Operator at Pando International must have an in-depth understanding of basic printing technologies, manages the production of printed materials, and ensures a high-quality finished product is created. The Press Operator must be willing and able to work with strict deadlines and keep to safety guidelines in the course of their work.
Up to $25 an hour Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:

Review job orders and instructions and make the right adjustments to the Print Press to assure completing orders to full customer satisfaction

Visually inspect machines before each shift and inspect the products created to ensure overall quality before it goes to production

Install parts and supplies such as ink rollers and printing plates according to the job specifications.

Mount Print Plates

Adjust Plate and Anilox Roll Pressure to ensure perfect Quality

Test inks on the printing surface to determine suitability

Handle production of the printed materials, including the printing and racking process, to ensure it meets the specifications and, is ready on schedule

Perform maintenance tasks on the Print Press and troubleshoot equipment issues

Clean the Printing Press and Anilox Rolls

Maintain a daily production log or policy record keeping
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Able to lift at least 75 lbs.

Excellent physical strength and stamina
-
Able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull, crawl, stand, and climb throughout shift

At least 3 years’ experience as a machine press operator
